A striking Art Deco sapphire and diamond three-stone ring of the Jazz Age. The elongated cushion sapphire, 6.45 carats, glows a vivid blue of genuine depth, gripped in slender platinum claws with a pair of tapered baguette diamonds sweeping down toward the band. Sleek and architectural, unmistakably 1920s in its restraint. Accompanied by GIA Sapphire Report stating Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and natural. Medieval clergy wore sapphires in the belief that the gem drew heaven's favor down to earth, which seems about right for a blue like this.
