The tennis or Riviera necklace has a long history of uniformity, typically with one diamond cut repeated, but this one departs from that entirely. Twenty-nine carats of emerald, marquise, pear, and oval cut diamonds float around the neck as a riviéré, each cut structure sending light in a new direction. The decision to set them in 18-karat yellow gold rather than white gold is significant; it gives the diamonds a warmth and depth that isn't conventional in the slightest. It took our gemologists over 5 months to source all 116 diamonds to perfectly match for color, clarity and size. At 17 inches, it lands perfectly on the collarbone. An original creation by Belrose Jewelers design team that will become a treasured heirloom of value for generations.
