Graziella was founded there in 1958, in a region that produced granulated and filigreed goldwork continuously from antiquity through the 19th-century Castellani workshops and into modern Italian manufacturing. These earrings sit squarely in that lineage. The drops draw on ornamental vocabulary that Roman goldsmiths reverse-engineered from excavated Etruscan tombs in the 1800s and Italian houses have kept alive ever since. Between the two spheres runs a jointed spine of polished gold beads set in swiveling gold yokes, which is what gives these movement when you turn your head. Hnd crafted of 18k gold, terminated by a faceted garnet bead that drops in a delicious, deep, wine red.
