Twenty-nine lustrous, white baroque pearls and one pink, placed in the center with intention. Dramatically draped from an 18-karat gold festoon, the garland swags between clusters of granulated beadwork, with 38 old European cut diamonds of F-G color worked through the design, 1.41 carats in all. At 17 inches the bib style necklace sits high, so the drops fall across the collarbone. The festoon reached its height of popularity around the turn of the last century, a form built to move with the wearer.
