Ronald Stevens carved this single piece of sea blue aquamarine from Brazil, which hasn't been enhanced, into a turtle exploring the ocean. It has good transparency.
The scene depicts an environment of waves and frothy foam, swimming among a reef shoreline. On the opposite side, the lustrous faces of the natural aquamarine crystal are visible. This sculpture displayed or stood up in a variety of ways, having the side behind the one shown layed flat is one of them).
