Twelve carats of graduated European cut diamonds, each one hand-cut and beautifully matched, flowing across the wrist in a single unbroken line of platinum. This is Cartier at the height of the Art Deco era, when the Maison was setting the standard by which all fine jewelry would be measured. The diamonds graduate from a pair of nearly 1 carat centers outward in the classic straight-line tennis bracelet. 36 round diamonds individually set in square settings that Cartier helped define in the 1920s, draping with that characteristic flexibility that made the period's bracelets feel, as one historian described them, as supple as ribbons of light.
