The principal stone displays an intense purplish red, certified by American Gemological Laboratories with no indication of heat treatment and origin Burma (Myanmar). It's claw set along a row of old mine diamonds, crafted in 14 karat yellow gold throughout. Unheated rubies make up less than 1% of all gem-quality rubies and one displaying this vivid, pigeon-blood color, saturation, origin and AGL pedigree are significant.
