The Carmel diamond ruby engagement ring. This Art Deco revivalist is petite but makes a big impact. Centered by a fiery old European round brilliant held within a milgrained platinum bezel and surrounded by a halo of French cut, vibrant red rubies.

This interesting "target" style dates to the 1920s and was recently made using the original gems from a well loved, but worn antique original. We love how the old, hand-cut diamonds draw the eye inwards, revealing the unique personality of the gem, unlike the mass-production of today's jewelry.
