This coveted bracelet from late 19th Century France is an outstanding example of French Neoclassic design.  Also known as Victorian or Napoleon III era, the bangle of 18k yellow gold is topped with a scrolled ellipse and garland motif of 20k gold embellished with a  seed pearl flower centered by a garnet doublet and flared escutcheons on either side. A true relic bearing an eagle head purity mark indicating 18k gold along with the date of 21 Aout 1891. (August 21, 1891) engraved inside. This hinged bangle bracelet retains it's original patina and remains in good antique condition.
