A vintage lapis lazuli and gold bead necklace built around a single carved bead, the lapis a deep and even blue lit with flecks of golden pyrite. The significant 10 mm round beads are spaced throughout with fluted and polished 14 karat gold beads. At nearly ninety grams over twenty-five and a half inches, this necklace was crafted to be a focal point. The deeply carved sphere adorned with the Chinese long life symbol, "shou" This heirloom can be worn knotted as a choker, with the sphere at the bottom as a pendant or askew on the side.
